Reserve Component

Clarity for the Reserve force. Built for the realities of part-time service.

Reserve units rely on dispersed personnel, monthly drills, variable availability, and tight timelines. Rapid Recall helps leaders communicate clearly, track accountability, and support readiness across Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, and Guardians — without adding complexity or requiring an ATO.

Built for Reserve units across all services

Reserve formations face unique challenges:

  • Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, and Guardians live far from their drill site
  • Drill weekends require fast, clear communication
  • Rosters often live in multiple systems or personal files
  • Travel, work schedules, and personal commitments affect availability
  • Recalls, mobilizations, and inspections require accurate accountability
  • Weather impacts can disrupt travel and drill execution
  • Leaders often inherit outdated systems and shadow IT tools

Rapid Recall solves these problems while fitting naturally into existing Reserve workflows.

What Rapid Recall Helps Reserve Units Do

Simplify drill weekend communication

Reserve units use Rapid Recall to:

  • Push drill reminders
  • Send schedule updates
  • Share driving conditions or weather impacts
  • Coordinate check-ins for travel periods
  • Collect availability
  • Track accountability in real time

This reduces friction for both leaders and members.

Run faster, cleaner accountability checks

Whether for drill, AT, pre-mobilization, or administrative updates, Rapid Recall supports:

  • Structured accountability workflows
  • Real-time dashboards
  • Dynamic groups for quick segmentation
  • Multi-channel notifications
  • Fast follow-ups via Rapid Dial

Leaders spend less time chasing status and more time leading.

Replace phone trees with a shared follow-up workflow

Reserve units still widely rely on phone trees.

Rapid Dial improves them by providing:

  • A structured call list
  • Automatic number surfacing (work, home, mobile)
  • Shared awareness of who has been reached
  • Notes captured for leadership review
  • No duplicate calling
  • No lost texts or missed lists

It's modern leadership, not automation.

Maintain a clean roster for readiness and inspections

Rapid Recall supports:

  • CSV and Excel roster imports
  • Address-level mapping (home, drill site, duty location, hometown)
  • Custom fields for MOS/AFSC/Ratings/Designators
  • Unit-level and cross-unit visibility
  • Dynamic grouping by any field

This provides a centralized source of truth for drill weekends and mobilization readiness.

Understand hazard impacts before drill or AT

WatchTower identifies personnel who may be affected by:

  • Storms
  • Flooding
  • Winter conditions
  • Wildfires
  • Local hazards
  • Regional disruptions to travel routes

Leaders can:

  • Launch safety check-ins
  • Prioritize Rapid Dial calls
  • Review travel feasibility
  • Prepare contingency plans

This is especially helpful for units with members traveling long distances.

Strengthen leadership rhythms across a distributed team

Call Cadence helps leaders maintain structured, healthy engagement with their Marines, Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors, or Guardians — supporting readiness and morale.

Track and triage inbound updates (CCIR Inbox)

Members can send:

  • Emergency updates
  • Travel delays
  • Safety concerns
  • Readiness-impacting information
  • Routine administrative issues

Duty officers and leadership teams can assign, track, and resolve items seamlessly.

Questions? We have answers.

What security protections are in place?

Rapid Recall is deployed on AWS GovCloud and requires two-factor authentication for admin sign-in. Our development and operations practices follow industry-standard security frameworks, including code reviews, automated vulnerability scanning, and continuous infrastructure monitoring. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Are messages from Rapid Recall encrypted?

Data is encrypted at rest and in transit within our application. The Rapid Recall Messenger delivers messages through our platform, so your messages benefit from this encryption. However, if messages are sent via SMS or email, those channels have their own security limitations and are not encrypted by Rapid Recall.

Do recipients need to download anything to receive messages?

No. Messages can be sent via phone call, email, or text without recipients needing to download any software. If your plan includes Rapid Recall Messenger, recipients will need to download the app to receive messages through that channel.

I’m a member of the Armed Forces, how do I get this for my unit?

Contact us through the form on this site, and we'll help you find the right plan for your unit. Rapid Recall operates as a commercial SaaS platform outside the DoD Information Network, so no ATO or lengthy procurement process is required to get started.

Does Rapid Recall require a DoD Authority to Operate (ATO)?

No. Rapid Recall is a SOC 2 Type II–aligned commercial SaaS platform hosted in FedRAMP-authorized cloud infrastructure. It operates outside the DoD Information Network (DoDIN) and can be used to handle only non-CUI contact and coordination data. As an external commercial service and not a DoD information system, it is not subject to the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) under DoDI 8510.01 and does not require an Authority to Operate (ATO).

What is the privacy policy around location sharing?

Member real-time location sharing is entirely opt-in. Members choose whether to share their location, how precise that information is, and for how long — or they can choose not to share at all. Rapid Recall is built on the principle that your people share what they choose, when they choose. No real-time location data is collected without explicit member consent.
