Military

Clarity for the modern military force.

Rapid Recall gives military leaders a simple, secure, and dependable way to communicate with their people, maintain accountability, and build shared awareness — across garrison, Guard, Reserve, schoolhouses, detachments, and distributed operations.

The military has changed. Communication hasn’t.

Across the services, units face the same persistent challenges:

  • Personnel dispersed across cities, towns, barracks, and dorms
  • Drill weekends, shift work, and rapidly changing schedules
  • Duty officer rotations with inconsistent handoff tools
  • Temporary duty, leave travel, and short-duration assignments
  • Families impacted by storms or emergencies
  • Mixed rosters (active, reserve, students, contractors, foreign partners)
  • Schoolhouses with high student/instructor turnover
  • Daily operations requiring clarity, not enterprise complexity

Most units still rely on:

  • Phone trees
  • WhatsApp, Signal, or SMS groups
  • Paper recall rosters
  • Personal spreadsheets
  • Email distros
  • Unofficial shadow IT

Rapid Recall replaces these fragile systems with a clean, unified, leader-focused platform.

What Rapid Recall Helps Military Leaders Do

Maintain accountability across dynamic formations

Whether for morning muster, drill weekend, duty status, or pre-mission actions:

  • Structured accountability workflows
  • Real-time dashboards
  • Rapid follow-ups
  • Automatic grouping by any roster field

Leaders spend less time chasing information and more time leading.

Replace phone trees with a modern calling workflow

Rapid Dial improves traditional call trees by:

  • Presenting all numbers for each member
  • Recording responses consistently
  • Preventing duplicate calls
  • Enabling shared situational awareness

It remains leader-driven — not automated calling.

See where personnel or families may be affected by hazards

WatchTower compares official hazard data with:

  • Known locations
  • Temporary duty stations
  • Drill sites
  • Travel locations
  • Family or dependent locations

Leaders can immediately follow up with those who may need support.

Support daily garrison operations and shift work

Rapid Recall helps with:

  • Morning accountability
  • Liberty & weekend safety checks
  • Section-level communication
  • Duty officer shifts
  • Weather or schedule changes
  • Daily shop and staff coordination

It enhances — not replaces — existing enterprise systems.

Manage travel, leave, and temporary duty (TAD/TDY)

Leaders gain clarity on:

  • Travel addresses (domestic or international)
  • Temporary housing
  • Students at training schoolhouses
  • Rotating instructors
  • Visiting units or detachments
  • Status during travel disruptions

One of the strongest fits for highly mobile units and training commands.

Support training schools and short-duration courses

Schoolhouses face:

  • High student turnover
  • Rotating instructors
  • Multiple classes running concurrently
  • Weather impacts
  • Daily schedule changes

Rapid Recall provides structure, clarity, and secure communication.

Coordinate distributed operations and scatter plans

From aviation to artillery to logistics to small-unit distributed operations:

  • Store scatter locations
  • Visualize distribution on COP
  • Identify hazards near alternates
  • Manage safe arrival check-ins
  • Support duty-of-care during movement

A long-standing pain point finally addressed.

Improve duty officer continuity and emergency triage

The Command Inbox gives units:

  • A clean way to receive inbound updates
  • Emergency / routine categorization
  • Assignment and acknowledgement workflows
  • Shared continuity across rotations

This dramatically improves watch flow and readiness.

Questions? We have answers.

What security protections are in place?

Rapid Recall is deployed on AWS GovCloud and requires two-factor authentication for admin sign-in. Our development and operations practices follow industry-standard security frameworks, including code reviews, automated vulnerability scanning, and continuous infrastructure monitoring. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit.

Are messages from Rapid Recall encrypted?

Data is encrypted at rest and in transit within our application. The Rapid Recall Messenger delivers messages through our platform, so your messages benefit from this encryption. However, if messages are sent via SMS or email, those channels have their own security limitations and are not encrypted by Rapid Recall.

Do recipients need to download anything to receive messages?

No. Messages can be sent via phone call, email, or text without recipients needing to download any software. If your plan includes Rapid Recall Messenger, recipients will need to download the app to receive messages through that channel.

I’m a member of the Armed Forces, how do I get this for my unit?

Contact us through the form on this site, and we'll help you find the right plan for your unit. Rapid Recall operates as a commercial SaaS platform outside the DoD Information Network, so no ATO or lengthy procurement process is required to get started.

Does Rapid Recall require a DoD Authority to Operate (ATO)?

No. Rapid Recall is a SOC 2 Type II–aligned commercial SaaS platform hosted in FedRAMP-authorized cloud infrastructure. It operates outside the DoD Information Network (DoDIN) and can be used to handle only non-CUI contact and coordination data. As an external commercial service and not a DoD information system, it is not subject to the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) under DoDI 8510.01 and does not require an Authority to Operate (ATO).

What is the privacy policy around location sharing?

Member real-time location sharing is entirely opt-in. Members choose whether to share their location, how precise that information is, and for how long — or they can choose not to share at all. Rapid Recall is built on the principle that your people share what they choose, when they choose. No real-time location data is collected without explicit member consent.
